Welcome to Ocean Dog Club's Positive Reinforcement Training Program. Our goal is to provide you with the classes that will help you help your dog.

We are pleased to announce that Jim O'Neill of Great Dog K9 Training, is now teaching classes at Ocean Dog Club facilities. Jim brings to us, his Great experience with dogs, winning TOP DOG in 2008 & 2009. Jim started Great Dog! In 2003 and has been leaving a trail of well behaved dogs since.Read more about Jim.

Puppy and Me Playtime

Twelve weeks with all immunizations to 8 months. Bring your new puppy in for an hour of play, with other pups beginning their road to becoming a well socialized dog. They may even start to learn some basic commands. Playtime will resume soon, let us know if you are interseted . More Info

Puppy Kindergarten

A beginners class for puppies 8 weeks and up to 6 months old.

This Class teaches fundamental puppy rearing skills, basic obedience skills, challenging behavior resolution, and safe puppy socialization.

Skills taught: watch, sit, down, stay, stand, leave it, drop it, potty training, loose leash walking, come, heel to side and walking in heel.

Good Dog

A beginner’s class for dogs 6 months and older.

This class is for dogs six months of age or older, this class teaches basic obedience skills, and challenging behavior resolution.

Skills taught: watch, sit, down, stay, stand, leave it, drop it, potty training, loose leash walking, come, heel to side and walking in heel.

Canine Good Citizens (CGC) - Group Class and Test

This class will be presented and taught by Jim O'Neil, Great Dog K9 Training. This is a CGC certified program. Great Dog! is registered with the AKC to administer the test. More Info

Good Dog 6 weeks $140.

CGC Class and Test (click here to register for CGC class) $140 plus $15 (for test)**

Saturdays 1:00 PM to 2:00 PM

CGC 12-01 January 07 to February 11 2012
CGC 12-02 February 25 to March 31 2012

** $15 test fee will be donated to the Warwick Animal Shelter, Warwick RI

How to enroll for classes:

Complete an Ocean Dog Club LLC application, health form and release forms. Once you completed forms and payment are received, you will be provided a confirmation email. Full payment is required at the time of registration to reserve a space in the class. Reserved space in class may be cancelled if full payment is not received prior to the start date.
